New Student Morning 2024

Friday 19 January 2024 | 8:45am - 10:30am

The day will commence with a separate information session for parents and students. Parents will receive some information from the leadership team and will have the opportunity to address any last-minute questions. Students will meet their Heads of Year; learn which homeroom they will be allocated to and access their timetable.

Following the information sessions, students and parents will be escorted as a Year group to their homeroom or classroom and will have the opportunity to meet their 2024 homegroup or classroom teacher.

A morning tea will then be held in the breezeway of the LINQ Precinct where you will have an opportunity to speak with staff representatives from various faculties and portfolios.

It is unnecessary for students to wear a uniform to the New Student Morning; however, we request that you encourage your child to please choose College appropriate attire on that day.

If you have any questions, please contact our Enrolments Manager, Miss Hollie Reynolds: [email protected].

Bus Services

Sheldon College has four private bus charter bus services to and from the College for use by Sheldon College students in Prep to Year 12. All relevant information pertaining to bus routes, fees and timetables is located on the Sheldon College Website and on the College's communication platform, iLINQ.

Where does the bus stop along the route?

The bus will stop at any public bus stop. Students are asked to wave to the bus driver as he approaches the stop.

My child is in Prep, can they catch the bus?

Yes, Prep students are able to use the Sheldon College bus service. Students in Prep will be met in the mornings and walked to their classrooms. As Prep students finish their day at 2.45pm, parents must book their child into After College Care.

Your child will then be escorted to the bus stop at approximately 3.30pm and then placed onto the bus at 3.45pm.  Parents of children in Prep who would like to utilise the bus service are to contact Randall on 07 3206 5557 or via email at [email protected] to discuss the logistics and safety aspects.

Can the bus be diverted to pick up or drop off my child?

No, the bus is on a set route. The bus services are reviewed on a regular basis to assist our Sheldon College community.

Can my child wear their HPE (Sport) uniform on the bus?

Students travelling by bus are required to wear their full formal College uniform. Students will need to change into/out of their HPE Uniform at College.

Who can I talk to about the Bus Service?

Please contact Randall Gibson, Director of Quality, Risk and Compliance on 07 3206 5557 or [email protected] to discuss any aspect of our bus services.
