Sheldon College’s Open Boys’ and Open Girls’ Tennis teams have qualified to compete in the State Finals of the Queensland Secondary Schools Team Tennis competition, having both been crowned champions of the Metropolitan East region.

Our Open Boys’ team secured their place in the state finals courtesy of victories over St Laurence’s College, John Paul College and Redlands College, whilst our Open Girls’ team advanced after defeating Somerville House and Moreton Bay College.

All players are now looking forward to testing their skills against the champion schools from the other regions within Queensland, at the state finals being played in Rockhampton at the end of this term.
