The 2021 Queensland School Sport Swimming Championships saw one of our rising swim stars shine!

Talented Year 7 student, Millie Rae, coached by Sheldon Academy of Sport Head Swimming Coach, Alex Jordan claimed a phenomenal four state medals.  Millie shaved an astonishing 8 seconds off her previous personal best time to win Silver in the 12 Year Girls’ 200m Butterfly. In an astounding effort the following day, Millie claimed Gold in the 100m Butterfly, again improving her personal best time by 5 seconds.  Millie claimed two further silver medals as part of Metropolitan East teams in relay events and made the final or top 10 in seven individual events.  What incredible achievements from a talented and dedicated athlete. Well done Millie!
