Master Plan

Shaping our future

Sheldon College has begun the development of a new Master Plan as part of the school’s ongoing vision to provide a world-class educational experience in a safe and supportive environment which nurtures students’ resilience and a love for learning in readiness for an ever-changing world.

As you may know, the College is 27 years old, and therefore, some of our buildings and facilities need refurbishment and general enhancement. We would also like to add new facilities to meet future demands and interests.

MASTER PLAN

The new Master Plan will encompass a vision for the College’s property and facilities for the next 10 years. Planning will encompass buildings and their uses, social gathering areas, transport areas, arts, sporting, wellbeing and event facilities.

As always, we strive to put our community’s needs at the forefront of our decisions and strongly value the contribution of our parents.

VISIONING FOR NEW MASTER PLAN

Initially, we are seeking ideas and feedback from the College community to inform the focus areas of our new Master Plan.

Towards the end of Term 3 2023, all ideas and feedback will be collated, and a visioning document will be developed. The College will then seek an architect to turn these visions into a new Master Plan.

We are at the very beginning of this journey to create a new Master Plan.

Parents, students, staff, and recent alumni will be contacted in August 2023 with further information about how they can be involved in the process.

We will keep you informed as we progress and let you know when there may be further opportunities to be involved.

If you have any questions about the Master Plan process, please phone the College on (07) 3206 5555 or email [email protected].
