We recognise that moving to a new school or starting school for the first time can be daunting. This page serves to provide a summary of important information to make your transition to our College as seamless as possible.

College Start and Finish Times
Kindy: 8.20am to 3.00pm (program concludes at 2pm)
- Prep: (Doors open at 8:20am) 8.40am to 3.00pm (program concludes at 2.45pm)
- Year 1 and 2: 8.30am to 3.00pm
- Years 3 and 4: 8.30am to 3.10pm
- Years 5 to 12: 8.20am to 3.30pm
Please note that our online systems are set to the College’s official “periods” and may show a 3.30pm finish. This is only relevant for Years 5 onwards.
Classroom Teachers
From January 2026, parents can log into the College's main communication portal 'iLINQ' and see their child's teacher/s by clicking on the "Timetable" tab under their child's name on the dashboard. This information will be available before the start of Term 1.
Alternatively, click on your child's name in the side menu and then click on the "Classes" tab. Please note the Timetable has the end of school as 3.30pm, this is only for Years 5 to 12.
Before you start
Resource packs
All Prep student resource packs are delivered directly to your child’s classroom.
The cost of the pack will be added to your College fee account and evenly distributed across four instalments throughout the year.
Our Place
Outside School Hours Care – “Our Place”
Our on-campus OSHC facility, Our Place, offers a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students in Prep and above outside of regular College hours.
Designed to complement the school day, the program reflects Sheldon College values and provides flexibility for families needing care before or after school, or during holidays.
Services available from 6:30am to 6:15pm:

Bus Services
At Sheldon College, we understand the importance of safe and reliable transportation for our students. To support families, we offer dedicated charter bus services to a range of areas in and around Brisbane. These services are available exclusively to enrolled Sheldon College students from Prep age and above. Our routes are designed to ensure timely and convenient travel to and from the College each day.
