The purpose of our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program is to provide a safe and enjoyable place for children to be when they need to be cared for outside of the College's core hours of operation.
Our service has a dual purpose. It provides children in our community with a safe and welcoming space to work, rest or play, grounded in values that align with those of Sheldon College. It also supports families who require care for their children, offering a seamless extension of the school day in a convenient on-campus location, while operating as a dedicated service in its own right.
The three services offered at "Our Place" OSHC for students in Preparatory onwards, from 6:30am to 6:15pm, are:
- Before College Care
- After College Care
- Vacation Care (including Student Free Day Care)
For Kindergarten Students we offer:
- Before/After Kindy Care
- "Kindy Club" Vacation Care.
We also aim to meet your children’s Before/After Kindy Care and Vacation Care needs in Wonderland and Kindergarten.
The Before/After Kindy Care Program is available 5 days a week, on a permanent or casual basis during school term time from 6:30am to 6:00pm. We encourage social interaction, recreation and play between children and educators.
During Vacation Care periods we offer a wide variety of exciting and educational activities from 6:30am to 6:00pm daily, such as arts, crafts, cooking, indoor and outdoor play.
