2025 Highlights
The Class of 2025 achieved a number of outstanding academic milestones, including:
- 96% of students achieving A and B grades.
- 73 internal assessment results of 100% - the highest number in the College’s history.
- 50% of all grades were A's.
- 17% of student achieved an A grade in every subject.
- 7 students receiving a QCAA Subject Achievement Commendation.
- 11 students receiving a QCAA Certificate of Academic Commendation.
- 9 external examination results of 100%.
- 43 students completing VET qualifications across a diverse range of industry areas.
The cohort achieved a median ATAR of 89.05, with a top ATAR of 99.85 and strong representation in the highest ATAR bands.
NAPLAN Success
Sheldon College students consistently achieve outstanding NAPLAN results, performing well above Queensland and national averages across literacy and numeracy domains.
In 2025, students across all tested year levels achieved “Exceeding” proficiency ratings at significantly higher rates than state averages.
NAPLAN Literacy
Students achieved exceptional results across Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation, with “Exceeding” results often more than double Queensland averages.

Early University Entry Success
In 2025, Sheldon College students achieved a 100% acceptance rate for early entry offers into Griffith University and QUT programs, with all students who applied receiving offers prior to ATAR release.
This outstanding outcome reflects the strength of the College’s academic preparation, university pathways program and the readiness of students to transition successfully into tertiary study.
