Today, Year 11 and Year 12 students returned to the Campus two days prior to the rest of Queensland, ready and eager to get a head start on their remaining studies for what remains of the 2020 school year.

The reasoning behind this earlier commencement of Term 3 was to provide these Senior students with every possible opportunity to maximise face-to-face contact with their teachers in the lead up to their end-of-year exams after having experienced decreased access during the height of COVID-19.

Regardless of the fact that the home learning period proved to be eloquently successful for the College students, staff members are still in agreement that those partaking in their Year 11 and 12 studies will benefit greatly from this enhanced experience.

Over the course of these two days, students will sit two lessons for each of their current six subjects, thereby providing them with an additional week’s education for a two-day investment of their time.
