The induction ceremony for the Sheldon College Middle College Leaders of 2019 was held today in the Sheldon Event Centre. The names of these successful candidates were called aloud and were warmly welcomed by the Sheldon Community.

Miss Lauren Cossettini, Head of Year 8 said:

“This group of Year 8 students is made up of passionate and dedicated young individuals. They have a lot of energy and want to leave their mark on the College. I am looking forward to working with them in their roles as Leaders of the Middle College.” 

“Thank you to all those students who were motivated to apply for leadership positions. It shows the strength of our students’ passion for community service in addition to contributing to the outcomes of our wonderful College.”

College Principal and CEO, Dr Lyn Bishop OAM congratulated each of these students on their newly appointed roles, while reminding them to let their leadership skills shine brightly. 

“There were 61 Year 8 students who applied for these leadership positions. Thank you to all those students who were motivated to apply for leadership positions. It shows the strength of our students’ passion for community service in addition to contributing to the outcomes of our wonderful College.
The Middle College Leaders for 2019 are as follows;

Zoe Beith, Imogen Belford, Brodie Blaser, Jacques Breet, Zane Colefax, Noah Farrell, Kaedon Hoekwater, Exodus Lale, Tatum Longhurst, Conor McCreath, Amelia McDonald, Elise McKillop, Hannah Monk, Lucy Schooth, Liam Smith, Jacob Telford, Zoe Trott, Freddie Watmough, Olivia Wells and Madison Witt.
