Based on Australian Government advice regarding implementing social distancing measures due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the decision has been made to postpone the Sunset Showcase that was scheduled for 23 April 2020.  We encourage you to still register for the Sunset Showcase using the form below so that we can notify you when a new date has been determined.

Join us at our Sunset Showcase on Thursday 23 April at 4:30pm and enjoy an authentic College afternoon experience, catching a glimpse into the world of our talented students. The Showcase will commence with an address from Founding Principal and CEO, Dr Lyn Bishop OAM followed by a comprehensive tour highlighting our Academic and Co-Curricular programs delivered at world-class facilities.
As a small sample of what will be on show, expect to see:
  • Academic Enrichment Programs in action from within purpose built facilities such as the Senior Learning Centre and ArtScapes (Mixed Reality, Visual Art and Digital Learning) Facility
  • State-of-the-Art Teaching and Learning facilities including the Learning and Innovation for a New Queensland (LINQ) Precinct
  • World-class sporting venues including our IAAF certified 8-lane 400 metre synthetic athletics track; 6 International-standard, floodlit tennis courts; 4 synthetic turf cricket nets; indoor sports stadium; modern fitness centre; eight lane heated swimming pool and enclosed commercial Learn to Swim Centre; outdoor multipurpose courts; undercover playing areas; cross country running course and natural turf playing fields
  • Performance Art Facilities including the Performing Arts Theatre, multipurpose Drama rehearsal and performance spaces equipped with mini-stage, lighting, sound and media equipment
  • Multipurpose Sheldon Event Centre for functions, performances, conferences, indoor sport and more
  • Near final rehearsals for Wicked the Musical, which will be presented by Sheldon College's Australian School of the Arts at Redland Performing Arts Centre in May
  • Instrumental music group rehearsals and many more

Dr Bishop and Senior members of staff covering all year levels from Kindergarten through to Year 12 will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
