Sheldon Academy of Sport swimmers, Jamie Jack and Millie Rae, have gained selection in the Queensland School Sport Swimming Team to contest the National Championships in Melbourne.  

Jamie and Millie were amongst a group of 13 Sheldon College students to compete for the Metropolitan East Region at the recent State Championships. Jamie won Gold in the 17 Years 50m freestyle, Silver in the 100m freestyle, Silver in both relays and finished 7th in the 200m freestyle.  Meanwhile, in the 10 Years age group, Millie claimed Bronze in the 50m butterfly, Silver in the freestyle relay, was 5th in the 200m individual medley, 9th in the 50m backstroke and 10th in the100m freestyle.  Sheldon Academy of Sport Head Swimming Coach, Alex Jordan, was proud of the efforts of all swimmers involved, and now looks forward to preparing Jamie and Millie for the School Sport Australia National Swimming Championships
