Students and staff members gathered in the College’s Pavilion at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month to honour Remembrance Day.

Following on from the heartfelt speeches of College Captains, Zoe Moran and Taige Hooper, Instrumental student, Imogen Parker, solemnly performed the Last Post which signified the beginning of the 1 minute of silence, marking 101 years since the guns on the Western Front fell silent.

During this time of silence, staff and students honoured the more than 100,000 gallant Australians who laid down their lives in service for their country. Attendees at the service were encouraged to sustain peace today and for all of our tomorrows, to commit to standing by those who returned home and who continue to serve and ensure that the principles and values they fought hard to defend do not deteriorate.

Today, all lives who served are remembered.

 Lest we forget.
