Sheldon College alumni, Joanne Miller (2015) and Christian Wilson (2014), produced stunning performances at the 2017 Oceania Triathlon Union Championships in Western Australia last weekend.

In a star-studded field of the best junior female triathlon talent from Australia and New Zealand, Joanne crossed the line first to automatically qualify to represent Australia at the World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands, this September.

Incredibly, three other Sheldon Triathlon Club athletes also performed strongly in this race, with another alumnus Annabel White (2016) placing 7th, Milan Agnew finishing 8th and Samantha Whitting coming in 13th.

Meanwhile in the men’s Under 23 event, in placing second behind a visiting Canadian, Christian Wilson took out that Oceania Championship to further validate the strength of the Sheldon College-based program.
