At Sheldon College we believe that quality schools are not just about buildings and bricks and mortar – they are about people, and in times of crisis it is the personal relationships that bind us together.

In this vein, during the Student Free Week teachers across the entire campus took the opportunity to reach out and connect with each and every student in a personalised way before heading off for their Easter breaks. Teachers of students from Kindergarten through to Year 6 took the time to call each family individually, wishing them all good health and happiness over Easter, whereas students from Years 7 to 12 were forwarded a positive postcard delivered directly to their home address.

The purpose behind these personalised communications was to show our families how much we value them, and how much we love the opportunity to work daily with all our wonderful children. It was intended also to help strengthen the home-school partnership that we pride ourselves on here at Sheldon College.

Despite the current circumstances, Sheldon College is committed to providing an ‘extraordinary’ service to each of our students and we want to ensure that all students feel safe, secure and supported throughout these challenging times.
