Eleven Sheldon College athletes, all of whom train within Sheldon Academy of Sport programs, represented Queensland at Athletics Australia’s National Championships in Sydney at the end of Term 1, with many producing personal best performances on the national stage.  Headlining our results were Kalani Lang (Silver in the Under 18 Boys 800m, and selection to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships), Max Hooper (Bronze in the Under 16 Boys 2km Steeplechase) and Taige Hooper(Gold in the 4 x 400m relay). Beyond the 11 current Sheldon College students, 2018 graduate, Jamie Hiscock, who still trains on our track with Head Coach Ben Norton, also impressed in winning the Under 20 Women’s 1500m.  Like Kalani, Jamie gained selection to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships
