To top-off another wonderful year at Sheldon College, yesterday students from Early Learning, Junior College and Middle College had the opportunity to perform in and enjoy the College’s annual Junior Showcase Event.

This year the theme of the show was Disney and understanding that WALT is more than just a name as it also means We All Learn Together.

All the students enjoyed the opportunity to perform songs and dance routines from their favourite Disney movies in front of a live and supportive audience. Due to their subliminal messaging, each performance item helped highlight the many reasons as to why Peter Pan (aka Mr Rick Samuels) should grow up.

This year’s performance items for each Year level included;
 Prep – Frozen: “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “For the First Time in Forever”
 Year 1 – Tangled: “When will My Life Begin?” and “I See the Lights”
 Year 2 – Mary Poppins: “Chim Chim Cher-ee” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”
 Year 3 – Aladdin: “Arabian Nights” and “One Jump Ahead”
 Year 4 – Hercules: “Zero to Hero” and “Go the Distance”
 All students – The Lion King: “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” and “Can you Feel the Love Tonight?”

Congratulations to all the students who took part in such a spectacular event and a huge thank you to the talented staff members involved in making it the success that it was.
