It is with tears of sadness that the College community bids farewell to one of its beloved educators, Mrs Catherine Heiner, who after 20 years of service, will be retiring from full-time teaching at the College.

Catherine has always been a very loved and well-respected educator by all the students who have had the pleasure of being taught by her over the last twenty years.

Over her time at Sheldon College and even in the years prior, Catherine has been known as an outstanding educator. This was most recently brought to light when Catherine was named as a finalist for the Queensland College of Teachers Teach X Awards for her Outstanding Contribution to Teaching.

Catherine has made a lasting impression at the College and will be dearly missed.

Catherine, we wish you all the best with your future endeavours. Your warm heart, wisdom and legacy will live on within the College gates for many years to come.
