Achieve the Extraordinary.

“The definition of 'Extraordinary' is something or someone that is unusual, exceptional or remarkable”.

The name and creative concept, “Achieve the Extraordinary” stemmed from the incredible achievements that we so frequently see here at the College. In our new campaign we have revealed the wonderful work, success and commitment of many of our talented students across many arenas.

To us, an extraordinary person is one who has a strong sense of what is right or wrong, and who chooses to stand out from the crowd by showcasing their individual talentsStudents develop outstanding capabilities at Sheldon College by taking the talent they have, then developing and working on it diligently until they achieve the extraordinary, with our support and encouragement.

‘Extraordinary’ people live the same life and face the same challenges as ‘ordinary’ people. However, their response to life's tests and triumphs, along with their set of values, are what makes them exemplary.

We have highlighted our students' unique strengths and talents through the new cinema advertisement, along with print, digital, outdoor and transit media to form an integrated campaign which will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out in the local community and further afield.

The photography featured in the campaign showcases the key areas of College life, including cultural, sporting and academic.

Each of the students involved were photographed on a plain background, those individual photographs then went through a post-production phase, which resulted in our epic final photos below.

Cameron March, a 2012 Sheldon College graduate, was the Commercial Film Director of our cinema advertisement. In this behind the scenes video, Cameron explains how during a 3 month process from start to finish, we saw the vision come to fruition by creating and producing a stand out piece of content, that sets a new benchmark in school marketing.

We were very fortunate to have had three of our Sheldon College Alumni be an integral part of this project - Cameron, with Sean Ryan, a 2011 graduate as Director of Photography, and Caleb De Leon, a 2011 graduate as Colourist.

Below are a number of behind the scenes images taken on filming day.

We also created a shorter version of the cinema advertisement, which will be used across digital platforms.

All of our students involved did an incredible job taking direction from the production crew and helped us adhere to a very ambitious shoot schedule for the day. To undertake a production of this size in one day was a huge logistical undertaking which would not have been possible without the professionalism of the crew, the detailed planning between the marketing team and Cameron March, along with the cooperation and assistance of staff on the day.
