Sheldon College and the Australian School of the Arts (ASTA), recently played host to over 100 Arts students from the Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka and Sapporo Schools of Music as part of their annual visit to Queensland.
Whilst on campus the visiting students enjoyed a range of music, dance and vocal ensemble workshops culminating in a concert with ASTA students from the Combined Performing Arts Professionals Program. The concert program featured a range of performances including hip hop, musical theatre, rock, J-Pop and ensemble harmony singing. This event is a highlight for the ASTA students and was another successful collaboration of Arts practice between the two countries.
