The LINQ Precinct is based around interdisciplinary, project based and research-driven teaching and learning.

The LINQ Precinct houses the Business Enterprise Centre, Design Technology workshop and flexible CAD, prototyping and robotics labs, the LINQ Creative production facility, an interactive / collaborative space with full operable walls; forecourt and breakout areas; a large group lecture and exposition space; and the LINQ Video Wall for group presentations, venue signage and virtual video collaborations.

Sheldon College's LINQ Precinct was featured on Channel 7’s Queensland News Bulletin, Saturday 28 March 2016. Staff and students provided an insight on how the new facility will assist in developing the entrepreneurs and innovators of the future.

Information, Communication and Technology Integration

ICT has played a critical role in the design of the LINQ Precinct and assisting the process of pedagogical change in classroom practice.  To support this change, a concurrent strategy has been employed to enhance the College’s digital learning and communications environment.  This platform will provide the capacity for teachers to deliver instruction online allowing access anytime, anyplace.  This has been supported further with the introduction of a Learning Management System (LMS) that supports curriculum delivery whilst providing a platform for online collaboration both inside and outside the classroom.
